Shipping policy
Shipping
Our products are made to order and will be produced and dispatched within 4 business days of receipt. Once dispatched, please allow up to 10 business days for delivery. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your package has been handed to the carrier. Customers are responsible for all local import duties and taxes.
Please note that the given times are estimated. Sumii is not responsible for any delays caused by the shipping operators or any lost or stolen packages once delivered.
Exchanges
We want you to be entirely satisfied with your selection. Sumii offers a 7-day exchange policy, allowing you 7 days from the date of delivery to request an exchange for another work in our collection. To be eligible, your sculpture must be returned in its original, pristine condition—unused, with all tags intact, and in its original archival packaging. Please note that a 10% processing fee applies to all exchanges to cover the meticulous inspection and care of our sculptural works.
To initiate an exchange, please contact the studio at studio@sumii.com. Once your request is accepted, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions on how to safely transport the piece back to us. Items sent back without a prior request will not be accepted.
Returns For those seeking a refund, we accept returns within 3 days of receiving your order. In these instances, the original shipping fee is non-refundable, and a 10% processing fee will be deducted from the final refund amount. As with exchanges, the item must be returned in its original, unused condition and packaging with proof of purchase. To start a return, please reach out to us at info@sumii.com.
Damages & The Sculptural Process
Each Sumii object undergoes a rigorous quality inspection before being prepared for transit. We ask that you inspect your order immediately upon arrival and contact us at once should you find any damage or if the incorrect item was received so that we may evaluate the concern and make it right.
Please note that the additive manufacturing process inherently results in subtle surface variations. These organic irregularities and layer textures are a signature of 3D production; they are not considered defects, but rather a testament to the unique "hand-to-code" journey of each piece.
If damaged upon arrival, items that are sold as ‘in stock’ can be returned for a refund or exchange. However, our made-to-order or custom items are non-refundable and only eligible for mending due to their bespoke nature.
